Ciudad Guayana has an airport, Aeropuerto Manuel Carlos Piar (ICA), in the San Félix area, with domestic connections to Caracas. In practice, international visitors often fly to Caracas first and then take an internal flight or a long bus journey — around 600 km east from the capital.
Buses run between Caracas and Ciudad Guayana and between Ciudad Guayana and Ciudad Bolívar (about 100 km west on the Orinoco). The main bus terminal is in San Félix. For onward travel south to the Gran Sabana and Canaima, jeep and bus services depart from the terminal.
