Rayimi Museum, also known as the Issouka Museum, is a small local museum west of the centre. Its collection focuses on the history and traditions of Koudougou, with photographs from the colonial period, masks, images of early missions, and objects tied to local life.
This is not a slick national museum. Its value is local: it gives context to a city that otherwise reveals itself through markets and street life, and it makes a good pairing with the Issouka royal palace area.
