A modest hill on the southern edge of Asmara that offers one of the best free views over the city. From the top — reachable on a half-hour walk from the centre — you can pick out the cathedral, the great mosque, the Enda Mariam, and the line of Liberation Avenue running through the middle.
Best at sunset. Bring something to drink; there is no café. A small radio antenna sits beside the viewpoint.
