Nzulezu is reached from Beyin, a small town about 90km west of Takoradi along the coast road (N1 highway west, then south on local roads). From Takoradi, tro-tros run to Axim (1.5 hours) and from there onward transport connects to Beyin. The full journey from Takoradi to Beyin by public transport takes approximately 3–4 hours; by private car it is about 2 hours.
Most visitors come as a day trip from Takoradi or from the nearby beach town of Busua. Some tour operators in Takoradi and Accra include Nzulezu in packages that also cover the Cape Coast forts. Overnight accommodation in the village itself is available in simple guestrooms in stilt houses; contact the community tourism office in Beyin to arrange this.
Canoe trips do not run on Thursdays — the lake is sacred that day. Plan accordingly.
