Bondoukou's sights cluster around the old quarter — the historic mosque, the surrounding Muslim Dyula neighbourhoods, and the weekly market. The Kulango villages on the edge of town are home to the masquerade traditions that put Bondoukou on the cultural map.
It's a small, walkable town. A morning spent wandering between the mosque, the market, and the chiefs' compounds gives a good feel for the place.
