Malindi has a small airport with domestic flights from Nairobi and Mombasa. By road, matatus (minibuses) run frequently from Mombasa — the stage is on Abdel Nasser Road (which becomes Digo Road heading south). The journey takes about two hours. There are also direct buses from Nairobi, typically overnight.
