Bushman's Nek Pass sits on the South African side of the Drakensberg and is one of the classic names associated with approaches toward Sehlabathebe. For hikers, it gives a strong sense of how the Lesotho highlands and KwaZulu-Natal escarpment fit together.
Do not treat it as a casual shortcut. Border procedures, trail conditions, and onward transport on the Lesotho side need checking in advance, and weather can make the pass much more serious than its map distance suggests.
