Mavuka is a small settlement near Sehlabathebe and one of the few named places that helps orient the approach to the park. It is more waypoint than destination, but in this part of Lesotho waypoints matter.
Do not expect much infrastructure. If you pass through, use it as a chance to confirm directions, road conditions, and local information before continuing into the park.
