Pereybere Public Beach is the reason most people stop here: a small, bright strip of sand with clear water and a sheltered lagoon. It is one of the easiest beaches on the north coast for a straightforward swim, with a sandy entry, little swell inside the reef, and food stalls close enough that you can make a lazy half-day of it without planning much.
The beach is also small, which is both its charm and its drawback. Weekends, public holidays, and late afternoons can feel crowded, especially when local families arrive with picnics. Come early for calmer water, better shade, and a much more relaxed version of Pereybere.
