Pereybere is about water, food, and short north-coast outings rather than formal sightseeing. Start with Pereybere Public Beach, then use the village as a quieter base for Grand Baie's boat trips and Cap Malheureux's coastal views.
If you want a less crowded swim, Bain Boeuf Public Beach is a good walk or short ride north. For snorkelling tours, diving, catamaran trips to the northern islands, and nightlife, go to Grand Baie; Pereybere's strength is coming back somewhere smaller afterward.
