A broad bay on the northwest coast with calm, turquoise water and a gentle beach backed by pine trees. The swimming is good at most tides, and the bay is calm enough for kayaking without the struggle against chop that you get on the windward side of the island. A few small guesthouses have opened nearby, making it a quieter alternative base to Anse aux Anglais.
The coast road along this stretch of the island passes through farming villages with excellent views out to the reef and the open ocean. There's no tourist infrastructure to speak of — bring lunch.
