The standard-bearer for serious traditional Moroccan cooking in Marrakesh — a women-run restaurant in Gueliz that has been serving the canonical dishes (pastilla, lamb tagine with prunes and almonds, mechoui) since 1987. The dining room is grand but unfussy. Bookings essential at the weekend. The original Gueliz location is preferred over the Aguedal branch.
