Giant's Playground

Field of balanced dolerite boulders that feels like a desert sculpture park

Giant's Playground is a wide field of dark dolerite boulders stacked in strange, angular piles. The name is obvious once you arrive: the rocks look as if someone has been building with oversized blocks and then walked away.

It pairs naturally with the Quiver Tree Forest, but give it its own time. Walk slowly through the marked area, watch your footing, and bring water. The place is harsh in full sun and magical in slanting light.
