Four galleries covering Nigerian instruments, Yoruba artifacts, pottery, and masquerades

Ibadan's premier museum, organized into four galleries. The Unity Gallery displays musical instruments from across Nigeria, including a cylindrical drum called Joko-tofofo. The Yoruba Gallery offers insight into the region's archaeological findings, with carved door panels and the single-headed Ogboni drum. The Pottery Gallery shows ceramic vessels dating back 3,000 years, and the Masquerade Gallery is dedicated to ancestral spirits, with exotic masks and musical devices.
