Seychelles International Airport on Mahé (IATA: SEZ) is the only international gateway. It sits about 10km southeast of Victoria, and the drive into town takes around 20 minutes by taxi.
Airlines flying direct or with one stop include Air Seychelles, Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, and Qatar Airways. From London expect around 10 hours in the air; from Dubai about 4 hours; from Nairobi roughly 2.5 hours.
All visitors must obtain a Seychelles Travel Authorization (TA) before arrival. Apply online through the Seychelles Electronic Border System — the fee is around €11 and the process is straightforward. You'll need proof of return or onward travel and confirmed accommodation.
By Sea
Cruise ships call at Mahé's Victoria Harbour, but there are no scheduled international passenger ferry services. Some travellers arrive by private yacht — the archipelago is a popular stop on Indian Ocean passages.
