A two-and-a-half-hour zipline tour through the Ysterhout Kloof, on a farm about ten kilometres outside Magaliesburg. Ten cables run between cliff-side platforms, the longest about 140 metres, with views straight down into the indigenous forest in the kloof and out across the highveld.
Tours run several times a day in groups of about eight, with guides who handle the safety equipment and add some commentary on the geology and wildlife along the way. Children from seven up are welcome (with a minimum weight); maximum weight is around 120 kg. Book ahead for weekends. The operator is one of the original canopy-tour outfits in South Africa.
