The village of Fazao, on the western edge of the park, is the practical base for visits. The park headquarters here handles entrance fees, ranger assignments, and the simple camp where most overnight visitors stay. The village itself is small and friendly, with a couple of buvettes serving cold drinks and grilled food.
The drive in from the main north-south highway near Sokodé takes about an hour and a half on a rutted laterite road that is rough but passable in the dry season. In the wet season the road can become impassable for days at a time; plan accordingly.
