Getting There

The park entrance at Fazao village is reached via the small town of Sokodé on the main north–south highway. From Sokodé, take the road west towards Bafilo and turn off after about 30 km on a rough laterite track that leads to Fazao (around 45 km from the turnoff). Allow two and a half hours from Sokodé in the dry season; significantly more after rain.

There is no public transport directly to the park. Most visitors travel from Kara or Lomé by hired car with driver — Kara's hotels and tour operators can arrange this. The park's own headquarters can sometimes pick visitors up from Sokodé by prior arrangement if you contact them through the Togolese tourist office.
