AEON Mall Phnom Penh

Japanese-anchored shopping mall on the western edge of Koh Pich

The first of three AEON malls in Cambodia and still the most popular weekend destination for middle-class Phnom Penh families. The big draw is the cool air, the ice rink, the cinema and an excellent Japanese supermarket on the ground floor — useful for picking up specialty ingredients, sake, or a familiar snack after weeks on the road.

The mall also has the city's best concentration of mid-range international restaurants — Korean barbecue, ramen, sushi, Vietnamese pho — and a long food court on the top floor. Practical rather than picturesque, but a useful stop when you need it.
