Qinglongqiao Station

Qinglongqiao Station is a historic stop on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway, famous for its switchback layout in the mountains northwest of Beijing. The site is closely associated with Zhan Tianyou, the railway's chief engineer, whose tomb is nearby.

It is a specialist stop rather than a first-time Beijing essential, but rail history fans will find it worth pairing with a trip toward Badaling and the Great Wall.
