Chongzuo's main draws are natural and historical: the Huashan cliff murals along the Zuojiang River, the white-headed leaf monkeys in the ecology park, and the Friendship Pass on the Vietnamese border. The city itself is a working Zhuang hub, relaxed and unpolished in ways that make it feel genuinely lived-in.
