Getting There

Guilin Liangjiang International Airport receives direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and several other Chinese cities. International connections include Bangkok and Singapore. The airport is about 28 km from the city centre; a shuttle bus and taxis are available.

By train, Guilin is well connected on the high-speed network. From Guangzhou the journey takes around two and a half hours; from Shanghai around four and a half hours on the fastest services. Guilin has two train stations — Guilin North (the high-speed station) and Guilin Station (the main station for conventional services). Most visitors arriving by high-speed rail use Guilin North.
