Lingshui's main draws are Nanwan Monkey Island, Perfume Bay beach, and the Diaoluoshan rainforest reserve in the hills above the coast. The county has so far resisted the full resort development of Sanya to the west, which makes it more appealing for travellers looking for quieter beaches and wildlife encounters.
