St Stephens Beach is a quieter alternative to Stanley Main Beach, tucked away on the south side of the peninsula. It has the practical beach basics -- changing rooms, toilets, showers, and a small cafe -- but feels more secluded than the busier sands closer to Stanley's waterfront.
It works best as a low-key swim or picnic stop after Stanley Market or the Murray House waterfront. A barbecue area sits up the hill from the beach, reached by stairs.
