Chibi is on the main Wuhan–Guangzhou high-speed rail line, about two hours south of Wuhan by fast train. The Chibi North Railway Station handles high-speed services and is well outside the city centre; a taxi or local bus covers the gap. From Chibi, the Red Cliffs scenic area is about 30 kilometres southwest — reachable by taxi or private car, with no convenient public bus. If you are combining the site with hot springs or other Xianning area attractions, a rental car or hired driver for the day is the most practical approach.
