Wanfo Mountain Scenic Area is a forested karst landscape in Tongdao County, south of Huaihua. The area is known for steep green ridges, caves, rock formations, and viewpoints over the surrounding hills.
It is best treated as a full nature outing rather than a quick roadside stop. Go for the scenery and walking, and combine it with the Dong villages in the wider Tongdao area if you have time.
