Laosicheng is a single site — but one of remarkable depth and extent. The UNESCO-designated area covers more than 250,000 square metres of excavated Tusi capital, and a thorough visit takes three to four hours. The riverside landscape and surrounding valley hills add to the experience. There is no urban environment to explore; the site itself is the reason to come.
