Xianshui Rock is part of Mount Longhu's red Danxia landscape, where cliffs rise from the Luxi River and Taoist history sits in the same frame as natural scenery. The area is known for sheer rock faces, river views, and the cliff-burial culture that gives the landscape a slightly mysterious edge.
It makes most sense as part of a boat-and-walk circuit through Mount Longhu rather than as a single isolated stop. The best moments come when the river bends open and the cliffs show their full colour, especially in soft light after rain or toward evening.
