Mount Longhu offers two quite different kinds of experience: the Taoist religious culture concentrated around the Tianshi Mansion and Shangqing Temple, and the Danxia landscape geology along the Luxi River. Both are worth your time, and a full day allows you to combine a river boat trip with a temple visit and still catch the evening sound-and-light show.
