Mount Longhu is most easily reached from Yingtan, which has a high-speed rail station on the Hangzhou–Shenzhen and Shanghai–Kunming lines. Trains from Nanchang to Yingtan take about 30 minutes; from Jingdezhen it is about 90 minutes. From Yingtan Station, local buses and shared taxis reach the mountain entrance in about 30 minutes.
The main entrance area is at Shangqing village; the boat trip and most trails depart from here. The mountain is easily combined with Jingdezhen as a two-day itinerary with a night in the village or in Yingtan.
