Ruijin's sights are almost entirely concentrated in the Yeping revolutionary heritage complex, where the earthen buildings of the Jiangxi Soviet have been preserved and are presented as some of the most important sites in Chinese Communist history. Beyond Yeping, the surrounding mountains and the Luohanyan Scenic Area offer genuine natural scenery that most visitors overlook in their haste to complete the revolutionary itinerary and move on.
