Getting There

Siping sits on the main Beijing-Harbin rail corridor, which means it has frequent trains in both directions. Changchun is about an hour north; Shenyang is roughly three hours south. High-speed services on the main line have reduced journey times significantly. The station is the practical centre of the city — everything of interest is accessible from here.

Long-distance buses connect Siping to smaller towns and villages in the surrounding agricultural plains, including routes toward Yehe Town to the north. For travellers moving along the main northeast China rail spine, Siping is an easy stop.
