Taierzhuang is a district of Zaozhuang city and does not have its own high-speed rail station. The practical approach is to take the high-speed train to Zaozhuang station (on the Beijing–Shanghai line) and then travel the 30 kilometers to Taierzhuang by taxi or bus — the taxi takes about 40 minutes and costs around ¥60–80. Zaozhuang station has services to Beijing (about two hours), Shanghai (about two hours), Jinan (about one hour), and other major cities.
Direct buses from Zaozhuang bus terminal also serve Taierzhuang, taking slightly longer but costing less. The ancient town itself is compact and best explored on foot.
