Weifang is on the high-speed rail line between Jinan and Qingdao, making it straightforward to reach from either direction. Journey time is around 75 minutes from both cities. Weifang's high-speed station (Weifang North) is in the northern part of the city; the main railway station handles some conventional services and is more central.
Direct high-speed services run to Beijing (about three hours), Shanghai (about four hours), and most major cities in Shandong. Buses connect to nearby cities including Qingdao, Jinan, and Yantai. Weifang Nanyuan Airport handles a limited number of domestic routes.
