Lianqingshan Scenic Area is a mountain-and-canyon outing northeast of Zaozhuang, with named peaks, caves, lakes, and valleys spread across the park. It is the kind of place to choose when you want fresh air and walking rather than another city museum.
The main draws are the ridgelines, canyon scenery, and short nature routes around places such as Lotus Peak and Tongtian Grand Canyon. Rafting is sometimes offered, but plan that part ahead rather than assuming it will be running when you arrive.
