Qingcheng Mountain is 65 kilometres northwest of Chengdu and straightforward to reach. A dedicated high-speed rail line connects Chengdu Xipu station to Qingchengshan station in about 40 minutes, with trains running frequently throughout the day. From Qingchengshan station, tuk-tuks and taxis cover the remaining three kilometres to the park entrance.
By bus, services depart from Chengdu's Chadianzi bus station and take 60 to 80 minutes depending on traffic. Most visitors combine Qingcheng Mountain with the Dujiangyan irrigation works on the same day — the two UNESCO World Heritage sites are 13 kilometres apart and share a bus connection.
