Qiongtai Fairy Valley is one of Tiantai Mountain's most dramatic short walks: a granite gorge with cliffs, a reservoir, a waterfall, and sections of walkway fixed to the rock face. The usual route climbs from the lower entrance toward the upper entrance, passing older arch bridges and side paths that hint at a rougher trail before the scenic area was formalised.
Come for the gorge rather than a single viewpoint. The mix of water, stone, and suspended paths makes it a good contrast to Tiantai's temple visits.
