The APTDC (Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation) runs comprehensive day and overnight tours from Hyderabad, making it easy to reach sites that are difficult to get to independently. Tours cover Hyderabad city including the Golconda Sound and Light show, as well as day trips to the Buddhist ruins at Nagarjunasagar 160km east of the city.
