Ganta Stambham is Vizianagaram's old clock tower, an octagonal landmark built in 1885 and partly inspired by Big Ben. At about 68 ft high, it remains one of the easiest points of reference in the city centre.
It is a quick stop rather than a long visit, but it makes sense on a walk between Vizianagaram Fort, the old educational institutions, and the surrounding market streets.
