Chitralekha Udyan, also known as Cole Park, is Tezpur's central breather: lawns, water, boating, old sculptural pieces, and a local crowd in the evenings. It is named for Chitralekha, the artist in the Usha and Aniruddha legend.
The park is not a major monument, but it rounds out a day in Tezpur well. After temples and ruins, it gives you a gentler place to watch the city use its own public space.
