Kolia Bhomora Setu carries the road across the Brahmaputra between Tezpur and Nagaon, with broad river views that are the real reason to notice it as a traveller. The bridge is named for Kalia Bhomora Phukan, an Ahom general who planned a crossing here long before the modern bridge opened in 1987.
