Lila Gumbaj ki Masjid is another of the atmospheric mosque ruins spread across Champaner. Its name, often rendered Green Dome Mosque, hints at colour now mostly replaced by weathered stone and open sky.
The appeal is in the fragments: arches, columns, domes, and the way vegetation presses close around the masonry. It is a good stop for travellers who like ruins with breathing room.
