Fort Kochi Beach is a small but historically layered waterfront, with a promenade, old anchors and machinery, and traces of Portuguese and Dutch fortifications near the shore. It is no longer a broad bathing beach, but it remains one of Fort Kochi's easiest places for an evening walk.
The beach is best combined with the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, and the streets of Fort Kochi. Go near sunset for the liveliest atmosphere.
