Kanthanpara Waterfalls is a forest-side waterfall near Meppadi, smaller and calmer than some of Wayanad's better-known falls. The setting is the appeal: greenery, falling water, and a relaxed place to pause rather than a full-day excursion.
The best flow is usually from September to January. Paths can be wet after rain, so wear shoes with decent grip.
