Bryant Park is Kodaikanal’s most accessible garden, laid out beside the lake at the centre of town. It is popular, sometimes crowded, and still genuinely pleasant: flower beds, old trees, lawns, and cool air make it an easy pause between lake walks and viewpoints.
The park is especially good if you are travelling with children or anyone who wants a gentle day in the hills rather than another taxi loop. Go in the morning for softer light and fewer crowds, or during flower-show season if you do not mind sharing the paths.
