The Tripura Government Museum, also known as the Tripura State Museum, is the serious cultural stop inside the Ujjayanta Palace complex. Its collections cover sculpture, epigraphy, coins, art, and material from Tripura and neighbouring regions.
It is especially useful before travelling to sites like Unakoti, Pilak, and Neermahal elsewhere in the state. The museum gives those scattered places a clearer historical frame.
