Nehru Park is a central public garden close to the railway station, one of the more accessible green spaces in the city centre. It is popular in the early mornings and evenings when residents come for walks and exercise. The park has a children's play area and some seating, and fills up with families on weekends.
It is not a destination on its own merits, but if you are waiting for a train and want some air away from the station forecourt, it is an easy walk.
