Qadam Rasul Mosque

16th-century Gour mosque built to house a stone revered as the Prophet's footprint.

Qadam Rasul Mosque was built in the 16th century by Sultan Nasiruddin Nusrat Shah. Its name refers to the relic it was meant to hold: a stone revered as bearing the Prophet Muhammad's footprint.

The small domed mosque, the nearby tomb of Fateh Khan, and the cluster of gates around it make this one of Gour's more atmospheric stops. It is best visited as part of the citadel circuit rather than as a stand-alone sight.
