Watch Tower

This ruined minar near Pandua's old royal enclosure was part of the defensive system of the Ilyas Shahi rulers. Its job was simple: give guards a raised point from which to watch the approaches to the capital.

The base is often choked by vegetation, so it is more atmosphere than polished monument. Pair it with Adina Mosque and the other Pandua ruins nearby, where the surviving walls and moat make the old defensive landscape easier to read.
