Santiniketan is usually reached through Bolpur Shantiniketan railway station, with trains from Kolkata taking about two to three hours depending on the service. By road it is roughly 200 km from Kolkata via Bardhaman and Panagarh. Local electric rickshaws are the simplest way to move between the station, campus, markets, and nearby sights.
